Inside out or Outside in

I love reflection photography. I find reflection of life around me fascinating to watch. Watching it as an observer or as an unobserved bystander makes me see beyond what is obvious. Here reflection of nature tones down serious officious atmosphere inside.

I could see two types of fabric hanging outside the window. I decided to shoot same window with three different perspectives.

Abstract is all about seeing. A Window at my home, half of it covered by protection against sun, made me think of day and night.  Little bit of post processing made the contrast stronger.

Beauty of small things of life

One can find beauty anywhere if one wishes to find it. I noticed this scene during my stroll across vegetable market. I found my abstract touched with reality.

Roof - An abstract look

Being an abstract photo artist, I always notice abstract forms created by subject in front. Here is a close study of wooden roof I saw in Tokyo. Geometry, textures, abstract arrangement of elements all attracted me to it.

Disarray - An abstract thought

Did I see it as an abstract when I shot this? Frankly, no! But something about this captivated my imagination.  When I saw it later, on my computer scene ,I found it disquieting. It had a sense of disarray, discordance which somehow I found interesting and yet made me uncomfortable.

Abstract photography should raise questions in viewer's mind and this definitely raised in mine. Why it was left like this? Who left it? It also had a sense of finality to it. Has something happened here? So many questions!!

Abstract thought process can develop even after one captures the image and looks at it.
